If you're an experienced web developer looking for a low-cost solution for your site-hosting needs, look no further than Pair Networks! They have the lowest costs I have found in the industry and they have fast, reliable servers that they are constantly upgrading.

Where else can you get 200MB of disk space, 400MB of daily traffic (not monthly!), and 25 included mailboxes for only $28.95/month? Nowhere! And each domain that you host costs only $1/month extra.

Pair is constantly upgrading their services. In the year and a half I have been a Pair customer, they have added MySQL database access, doubled and doubled again our disk space allocation (yes, it used to be 50MB), and provided a new web-based administration interface that automates just about every task you could want to perform on your account from managing domains to mailboxes. All of this, and they've not raised their prices one penny. In fact, none of their services have gone up in price ever in the nearly five years they've been in business (a long time in the web hosting market).

If $30/month is too much, Pair offers a lot of other options. The most basic account is only $5/month and provides 50MB of disk space and FTP access. You can move up through the levels. Pair even provides the option to lease an entire server from them at their site with their really fast pipes. Nowhere else can you grow so easily into an account that fits your needs.

At the Webmaster account level and above ($29/month and over), you have full access to provide your own CGI scripts, access up to five MySQL databases, use PHP, Perl, Python, cron, any UNIX shell services or web services you can think of. I've not yet run into something I'm not able to accomplish at Pair.

Now Pair sounds great so far, huh? Well, their customer service leaves a little to be desired. At busy times of the month they can take up to a week to respond to email requests for help. Even when it isn't busy, it takes a few days. However, they have so much of their process automated (through the web-accessible administration interface described above) that there are only a few problems that you have to deal with their service people to overcome. So there's no reason to be concerned about the lack of service if you are web-savvy in the least.

I use Pair to host my personal site and all of my business sites. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a low-cost, high-quality service provider. Good luck.
