Great Antenna, especially for a balcony.

Pros:Great Reception, easily mounted in many different ways, wind resistance, size.
Cons:May need a rotator.
The Bottom Line: Great antenna especially for applications with limited space.
I live in a condo and can't permanently attach anything to the building. Also I can't put an antenna on the roof. I have this antenna attached to a mast and a rotator anchored in a bucket of cement on my balcony. The reception is fantastic. Previously I had one of those saucer type RV antennas. This is far superior. I use it for HDTV reception and get more channels with less fiddling with the rotator. Also the wind resistance with this antenna is terrific (I replaced the saucer because it kept blowing over).
The antenna has lots of possible mounting positions and might not need to rotator if it was on the roof. It definitely looks a lot better than the wire type antennas. Did I mention the reception is terrific. The internal amplifier doesn't use a power connection. Previously I had an indoor power amplifier but had to remove it because the reception was better without the extra amplifier (as indicated by the signal strength meter on my HDTV receiver).
This antenna is definitely a quality piece of receiving equipment and I would definitely recommend it, especially where limited space or aesthetics is a concern.
Mine cost $99.95 at BestBuy but it appears better deals are available on-line.
