When I got this phone it was mainly because of the keypad which clicks down when you press a button on the back (like in The Matrix, although it is not the same phone). Also I was interested in seeing what WAP was like.
I used the WAP quite a lot in the beginning because I had an 0800 number to dial up to, so I checked email, read the news, read what was on TV, in the cinema and in clubs etc. This is where WAP comes in useful, since you can do this while waiting in a line for something or waiting for the bus/train. I still use it for email access and TV/cinema times when I cannot get to a computer and for finding directions etc.
The only problem with the Internet access side is that there are not many bookmark entries available. This phone makes up for this in the large screen which is good for reading lots of text on webpages etc.
Call quality is good, as is battery life and reception because it has a proper antenna unlike the 3210s, etc.
However, where this phone stands out is in the Phone Book and calendar. Because it has its own memory as well as the SIM card memory, I can keep 1000 names with 3 numbers and an email/home addresses for each name! So I keep all my contacts in here.
I have also recently begun using the calendar for all my appointments and meetings. You set a description and time for a reminder and you will never forget another meeting. Plus it means you don't have to carry around a separate diary or PDA.
The phone is a good size and has reasonably good games, and a good text messaging system where you can save your messages in different folders etc. It also has Infrared and you can use the messages/phonebook/notes etc while talking to someone which is not possible on some other phones.
Still one of the best phones out there.
