Pros: When a party happens, they are the best! Cons: What's a party?
I graduated from Bryn Mawr College in 1998 with a double major in Economics and Political Science. As if that were not enough, I had a minor of International Political Economy (a subset of both majors). Needless to say, my rigorous choice of academic...

Pros: Everything! Cons: More work than you ever will have received in your life!
I will be the first to admit that I probably should have written this review a long time ago. I graduated from Bryn Mawr in 1998 with a double major in Economics and Political Science. I have never been so challenged, so thrilled and so enthused by...

Pros: Strong sense of community, tradition, excellent academics Cons: Four years may not be enough time to explore

Pros: Challenging, supportive, unique Cons: not for everyone - although that's not necessarily a 'con'
How do you describe an entire four-years of your life? I suppose you could just throw out a few adjectives: perfect, imperfect, stressful, blissful, challenging, mellow, inspiring, hysterical, fierce. Or if you're an academic maybe you'd write a...

Pros: Rigorous academics, woman-only environment, small (1100-ish?), pretty campus, supportive staff Cons: Rigorous academics, woman-only environment, small (1100-ish?), pretty campus in rainy Main Line Pennsylvania, nosy staff
Reviewing Bryn Mawr is like reviewing a New Yorker cartoon, particularly the ones that reference Bryn Mawr. Some people can't talk for laughing and some people just don't get it.
Bryn Mawr is above all else a school for women. If you're looking...

Pros: strong academic programs, beautiful campus, honor code discourages competition among students Cons: certain traditions (idol worship), atmosphere can be uncomfortable for some students
I visited Bryn Mawr College twice during my high school career. The campus is very welcoming and beautiful and the academic programs, compared to those of other colleges, are exceptional. The honor code was one of the first things that caught my...

Pros: Beautiful campus, old stone buildings. Wheelchair accessible in most areas! Cons: Library doesn't appear to have any books for pleasure reading. Not all dorms are wheelchair accessible. Tough academic competition!
I love Bryn Mawr! I am a prospective student, I have visited Bryn Mawr several times, I have had an interview at the school & I recently applied for admission for the fall. Bryn Mawr has a BEAUTIFUL campus, one of the very nicest I have ever seen!...
