Pros: Masters Degree in one year (MTIM) Cons: Expensive; Lies about placement; treated like undergrads
After I woke up this morning I made some coffee and grabbed the Sunday paper. When I opened up the business section I saw an ad for my program, the Masters in Trust and Investment Management (MTIM). I almost spit my coffee out when I read one line in...

Pros: great environment for a conservative, religious mind, freshmen can have cars Cons: small campus,no entertainment,no freedom, poor maintenance, very pricey
I made the decision to come to Campbell University at the beginning of my senior year in high school. I was planning to major in Pre-Pharmacy, and from what I saw, Campbell looked like it would be a great place to go. My mother and I researched ...

Pros: few distractions, community atmosphere, pretty campus, freshmen can have cars Cons: food is terrible, freshmen can have cars, , costs WAY TOO MUCH, no upperclassmen privileges
The lure of Campbell(CU) was powerful for me coming from a Southern Baptist Christian home. I'm a fairly sheltered girl, and I was looking for a school without distractions. I certainly found that at CU.
I spent two and a half years of my...

Pros: Excellent, intensive liberal arts programs, low student to teacher ratio Cons: Small library facilities, pricey
When I attended Campbell University in the latter half of the 1980s, the computer industry was not what it is today. There was a computer lab then, but the applications were more in word processing and use for computer science students. Netscape did...

Pros: Individual Attention/Good Financial Aid Cons: 30-45 minutes to a larger city
I graduated from Campbell University in May 1993 with a BBA and a minor in Marketing. Campbell is a fine school. It provides the smallness that keeps you close to fellow classmates and the university staff. Being a small school in a very small town......

Pros: Beautiful central campus when flowers bloom.
For blind followers who are critical-thinking challenged. Cons: Appalling educational standards, poor learning environment, apathetic students /faculty, religion pushed hard, intolerance promoted.
I taught full-time at Campbell University before I fled. My opinion: Campbell was the worst educational experience I have ever had. I was appalled at the educational standards. Campbell is about extracting as much money as it can from its students. ...

Pros: Everything! Cons: Limited availability of used textbooks off-campus.
I attended the off-campus program at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. I really liked the fact that as a full-time employee and mother of three, the classes were twice a week and I could take two each semester. Although it was difficult at times due to the...

Pros: Yummy! Cons: The meals are only available at certain hours. It is sometimes hard to fit your schedule to match the dining halls'.
The food is good, no great, no fantastic! There is an excellent variety. A billion flavors of ice cream, high quality meals. I love the shrimp and fish. The diet plate actually tastes excellent! I could live there! The only problem is that the...

Pros: Will gain solid knowledge of course work if you apply yourself. Cons: Lack of understanding of what a graduate student is and what an undergrad student is.
Overall my experience at Campbell has been rewarding. I came to do what I set out to do. That was to sharpen my knowledge of trust, estate planning and earn the credits to sit for the CFP. However, if Campbell really wants this program to grow and be...
