Pros: Great landscape, nature lovers paradise, decent academics Cons: Peer pressure, the weather is not for everyone

Pros: Good source of money for Western Maryland - They suck all the money out of the students Cons: 95% of faculty and staff I've had contact with were unprofessional, incompetent, and "full of themselves"
If you're a college student or high school student that is thinking about attending Frostburg State University, I strongly advise you to think about a different university. Just try calling them on the phone and you'll get a nice preview of the overall...

Pros: There's always ice cream. Cons: Ice cream can't fill you up.

Pros: You can find a good party to go to every night Cons: There is not anything else to do at Frostburg but party
Frostburg State University is very big on partying. The weekend begins with the biggest parties on Thursday nights which begin around 8:30pm and goes long into the early morning hours until around 6am. This is because there is not much else to do in the...

Pros: close to the dorms, sub shop Cons: sometimes the food isn't cooked all the way
There are a few places to eat at Frostburg State University. The Cafeteria is called the Chesapeake and it's run by the Marriott food corp.
Sometimes the food is alright, other times, it's horrible. The salad's are the only really safe...

Pros: Close to classes. Cons: Stuffy at times and a little small.
For the most part, Frostburg does a good job in providing efficient housing for students. The rooms are little, but feasible, and the undergraduate dorms (Annapolis, Sowers, Cumberland, Diehl, etc.) can get quite toasty in the beginning and end of the...
