Pros: Good instructors, nice students. Cons: Hard to get classes.
You get a different feel of Rhode Island College depending on your major. The majority of the student who go to RIC are education, social work, or nursing majors. Although RIC does cater to these majors, it also has its downfalls.
Class size:...

Pros: Different options for different folks. Cons: Losing money after the year is up
RIC has two different types of meal plans, with two different options under those meal plans. The prices I'll be quoting is from my copy of my Residence Hall Room and Dining Center Contract for the year 2000.
The first meal plan is called...

Pros: Only place to get food on campus. Cons: Very predictable meals, no veggie alternatives
Okay...living here on campus for three years has been great, but the worst part is certainly the food.
Donovan Dining Center is the only place on campus that you can get food through the college's meal plan. There are four sections to the...

Pros: Best, biggest rooms, newest building Cons: Having a room mate, and the cost.
I lived in Sweet Hall for three years, and had an overall pleasant experience. While living in Sweet, I had never spent much time in the dorms, so upon writing this review, I had not all that much to compare it to. Since then I have moved to a different...

Pros: None Cons: Sucks
I have had poor experiences at RIC. I am a student with a learning disability. I was promised tutors to help in some of my classes. This never happened. I attended CCRI before I entered RIC. I was always treated fairly at CCRI. I am 29 years old and not...

Pros: Price, Curriculum, Professors Cons: Paperwork/Runaround in Application Process
I'm in my second semester of a Master of Arts in Teaching Program and so far, I recommend the program. The professors are well prepared and seem to want all of their students to succeed - much as I will want my future elementary students to succeed in...

Pros: smaller classrooms, great professors Cons: some office staff members don't care if you have a problem.
The teachers and programs at RIC (Rhode Island College) are the only reasons to go. Don't get me wrong, I like RIC but some of the offices are just a waste of time to go to. For example, don't go to the records office expecting to get help. They are the...

Pros: excellent premed Cons: none
I graduated from Rhode Island College in 1986 with a BA in Biology and BA in Chemistry. I studied a pre-med curriculum.
I was a bit apprehensive about leaving the state of RI for my undergraduate education as I was born and raised there. I...

Pros: Cheap Cons: You get what you pay for
Let me start by telling you what RIC is, it is a place where all the low-scoring ADD Rhode Island kids go to waste their time and money. No joke, this school has an incredibly low rate of out-of-state students as well as a really low rate of students who ...
