by Engineer2000 , Dec 27 '00
Pros: Excellent academics, job possibilities
Cons: Tough as nails

Rutgers engineering is one of the toughest, most rigorous and demanding field you can go into as a Rutgers University student. The classes are huge, the professors are hard to approach and the work load is enormous. And as exam time rolls...

Criticizing Big Schools - ie Rutgers

by cipher7 , Jul 07 '00
Pros: Endless opportunities, many campuses, research galore
Cons: Big classes, very tough classes
I went to Rutgers engineering for 4 years, and not once was there a professor I could not understand. Heavy accents, definitely, but definitely understandable if you paid attention in class. And that was four full years. Hello people, this world is...

School of Engineering and Me

by cowgirl00 , Jun 26 '01
Pros: Good education, high job placement percentage, nice campus
Cons: Expensive if you are out of state, not all professors speak English well

Cons: A measly 6 wins in 3 seasons

Engineering - Not My Cup Of Tea

by cynthia124 , May 21 '00
Pros: Stressful, non english speaking professors, expensive.
Cons: Get a good job at graduation.
During the fall of 1998 I attended Rutgers College of Engineering for a total of one month. I learned very quickly that this was not the school I had wanted.

During my four years of high school I was sure I wanted to be a Computer Engineer....

by pielover , Jun 20 '00
Pros: Diverse experiences, great friendships
Cons: Big school you can get lost in if not careful
I know that the College of Engineering (CoE) has changed a lot in 10 years since I left. Let me tell you about my experience, with hind-sight being 20-20. You can do it!

Accept this fact:
You will have to look out for yourself, but you...
