Pros: It's in Orlando, has a great business, engineering and computer school, nice campus Cons: Parking, freshman class sizes, Majors not listed above
Okay... So I graduated a while ago.. 1999 to be exact. I started UCF in the fall of 1996 as an incoming freshman. I selected UCF because I wanted to go into Acting, they had a new theater department that promised "Lots of individual attention, and more...

Pros: Nationally recognized Business, Engineering, HPA colleges. Professors available outside of class. Campus jobs available. Cons: UCF's art programs seem hidden and exclusive. Secretaries and office managers are sometimes rude!
I am a graduate student currently attending UCF, majoring in Elementary Education. I also got my undergraduate degree here in Liberal Studies. I have been growing through my educational, professional, and extra-curricular activities here at UCF. I...

The University of Central Florida is right in Orlando, which is one of the most active areas of Central Florida. There are a lot of organizations at the school, and the Campus Activities Board and Student Government Association both sponsor lots of...

Pros: Great location and a wide variety of academic programs Cons: Very large campus
I am a graduate of the University of Central Florida and I absolutely LOVED my experiences at the school. The campus is beautiful: it sports large trees, a reflection pool, and is surrounded by acres of protected woodlands. The university offers ...

Pros: Online registration Cons: Parking is bad
My Fiance' goes to the University of Central Florida and he loves this university. Ucf is a lot better than Seminole Community College because it has a variety of computers that are free for students to use and the library is a lot better. UCF's...

Pros: YOU'LL HAVE A BLAST AND WILL IMPROVE GREATLY AS A MUSICIAN!!! Cons: if you're not a hard worker, it's not for you
The marching band here at UCF is the GREATEST organization on campus! I personally have marched w/ the Knights for 3 seasons ('97-'99) in the drumline and have had a BLAST all 3 years. I've made some great friends, improved TREMENDOUSLY as a musician,...

Pros: Early registration, smaller classes taught by handpicked professors Cons: Symposium is boring, registration for Honors courses is a hassle
My experience with UCF academics is somewhat different from the average experience because I am in the Honors program. The Honors program is for select students and it provides opportunities such as early registration, smaller classes with a somewhat...

Pros: Great city, great weather Cons: Too much Greek influence and the campus community is not a strong one.
I was part of the UCF social scene for two years. In that time, I learned a lot about the types of things that keep the students occupied in their free time. I did it all, from the greek events to the bars and clubs. I'm not much of a drinker, so that...

Pros: Great campus, good location, good programs Cons: Little campus life, poor administration
The University of Central Florida is quickly becoming a contender with the University of Florida as the state's premier institution. UCF has already surpassed Florida State in admission standards and popularity with high school seniors. And I think it...

Pros: None to speak of. Lead Scholars Program is the only pro I can think of. Cons: Too many to list in 15 words.
I chose to attend UCF because I heard through word of mouth that they had a good business program. Nothing could be further from the truth in my opinion. My first year was almost awesome, and I was part of the LEAD Scholars program, and got to ...

Pros: great professors, great campus Cons: construction
I first came to The University of Central Florida in 1996 when very few people had ever heard of it. It was not a division 1 school and was mostly for commuting students. I was immediately impressed with the seriousness of the student body here. It...

OK, it's time to get down to one of the most important factors (from a male's point of view) to consider when choosing a college: The women.

Pros: The way they cradle you when you get there Cons: Orlando is not a big city
If you're a Knight, you did it right. I have been living in Orlando, Fl. for about 14 years, and you'd think I'd leave this small city for something more exciting when I went to college. But what could be more exciting than an inexpensive education,...
