You are about to reach the height of unpopularity. So get ready for it. Now that I have that out of the way, let me help you to manage through your first few weeks away. Bring your Playboys. No this doesn't have to be literally, but if your a guy, you will be lonely for a while. You are now competing with men, who have confidence, at least they do with the little freshman girls your trying to talk to. Be happy, though, you will soon find this confidence, as soon as a new batch of freshman girls show up. Girls bring your glasses. All men are jerks and morons. Not a good combination, this is really true now because they are all drunk and horny as well. Your Personality Now you may be saying "I'm in high school, I don't have a personality." Well, find one. It is your job to meet and make as many friends as possible. This has to happen if you want to enjoy yourself. Never allow yourself to sit in your room, there is always something to do. Yourself Well, of course. But there is more. Leave everything else at home. Your high school sweetie, your friends, your inhibitions. Now I don't mean forget about all these people, but do get on with your life. Don't let your old life ruin your new one.  |
