Because it is different or not what they expected, they do not like it at first. Just because your child does not like it at first, do not panic. Let me adjust to school on their own. Do not force them to like it or threaten to leave them there or not visit just because you think that will be the easiest thing for them. Your child is a college student, and they will be able to adjust to school on their own. If a whole year goes by and your student still does not like the school, you can always mention transferring. Just because your child does not like the school, that is no reason to allow them to drop out in the middle of the year. Encourage them to stick with it, but do not force it upon them.  |
