How to Have Fun at Home for Spring BreakApr 9, 2000 Write an essay on this topic. So you're not off to San Francisco or Mexico or Panama City for Spring Break--you're going home for the week. If you've been far away to school, then it actually does seem like a break. A nice, long airplane ride back to your old comfortable room, a week where everyone is happy to see you and interested in you, and you can sleep all week and claim you're exhausted, and no one will question you. But if you're unhappy about going home, let me remind you of a few of the perks of Spring Break chez Mom & Dad. -free everything -sleep, no pressure to do anything productive (like meeting four cute guys by dawn) -maybe seeing an old friend or two and bitching about your roommate -finding lots of neat stuff you can "borrow" from your parents for your apartment -scaring your younger siblings with college horror tales and telling them they'd be better off going straight from A.P. Calculus to Burger King -real food |
