Don't Sweat ItSep 21, 2000 Write an essay on this topic.
So, you're applying to college. Filling out applications, writing essays, revising essays, trying to figure out why the school you want, should want you. Yeah, itís hell, but we all go through it. But the real thing youíre worrying about is the interview, isnít it. After all, the application forms are comfortably impersonal, but an interview requires actual human interaction. DONíT WORRY ABOUT IT. If youíre tense, theyíll know it, and thatís not good. Interviews, like predators, can smell your fear. What youíve got to do is relax. Figure out why youíre special, why YOU are a beautiful and unique snowflake, and let the interviewer know why youíre a great pick for whatever college you want to attend. Figure you some good questions about the college, engage the interviewer in conversation, act the part of a mature and sophisticated person. Donít go in nervous, donít go in cocky, donít go in afraid. Be yourself, and itís all good.
