Food, Food, and always MONEY!May 01 '00 Write an essay on this topic.College kids love to get packages from home as long as they include, food, food, more food, and money! Keep in mind that not only is your child excited about opening that package but so are the roommates,hall buddies, and visiting friends. That's why food is an essential. Things like popcorn, candy bars, cans of ravioli/soup, peanuts, chips, and all out junk food is appropriate. Maybe some gift certificates to the local pizza joint, also will hit it big on campus. MONEY!!!!!!! College kids are always broke. Usually spending it on food! Gift certificates,gas cards,and stamps are also some ideas. A child wins instant popularity when buying pizza for the gang that night! Keep in mind, children do love to hear form good ole'mom and dad too! But, winning over their friends stomachs can win over a "cool" parent attitude and your child's heart.  |
