care packages are great :)Mar 14 '00 Write an essay on this topic.Sending a care package to a college student or anyone away from home is a wonderful idea. Getting mail that isn't a bill or a credit card offer can really boost spirits. My dad sends me stamps and money with a little note every once in awhile, and its nice to hear what's happening at home (not to mention a little extra money is always a plus). Remember that even if you don't talk to those who are away from you that often, they are probably still thinking of you and would love to hear from you! A package or letter in the mail is sometimes even better than a phone call--knowing that someone cares enough to take the time and effort to send you an actual package is so nice. It makes everything at college seem a little bit better.  |
