Ok, the GMAT is an important test, but it is not that difficult. It is very comparable to the SAT test you took to get into college. I studied for the MCAT as well as the LSAT. The GMAT is much easier. I do not recommend paying money for a special course for the test. It is not necessary at all. What I do recommend is buying the official practice tests from the GMAT testing company. In addition, I would go to the library or buy a couple books on the test. The test is done on a computer, however, no special computer skills are necessary. Just be used to the fact that math problems are on a screen, not a book, so all diagrams will have to be done on scratch paper. This is all the information you need to do very well on the test. The most important part is doing some practice tests to know where you stand. Then, focus more practice on the sections you did poorly on. The GMAT is not very tricky and therefore, no special expensive course is necessary in order to do well on this entrance exam.
