Managing your money at college is hard, and is often the first time that you are forced to be responsible with your cash. My advice is to keep track of your checking and ATM account in your ledger, stay away from credit cards until you really need them, and pay all your bills on time to preserve your good credit. If you spend on things you really need, and don't do dumb things like spend a ton of cash at bars, you will have no problem, and be on your way to a sound financial future.

Take it from someone who has messed up before, if I only knew then what I know now...
