Holloway-Smith hall was big, but disgusting.

Pros:Well you can get up 5 minutes before class and still get there on time.
Cons:Cost, quality, living conditions, lack of life on weekends....
I lived in Holloway-Smith co-ed dorm for a year. The entire year I was there, the paint in the bathroom suite was peeling very very badly and there was a high amount of mold on the walls. This is a very unhealthy condition - especially to me because mold affects my allergies and asthma. But nothing was done about the paint or the mold despite our entire suites' constant complaints. ONE OF THE BIGGEST PROBLEMS with this dorm is the LACK OF RESPECT other residents have for the people trying to study or sleep. There is CONSTANT running and yelling and screaming from outside the doors and if you poke your head out to ask them to quiet down, they basically tell you off.
One good thing about the maintenance at H.S. hall was that the day we moved in, we got a new A/C on request. They were quick to replace that.
The rooms are the largest on campus but could use some serious touching up. There is a laundry room but only 4 washers and dryers...
Living on campus is such a rip-off though, because you're required to buy a 720 dollar meal plan for ONE semester and nothing is even open on weekends. It's really ridiculous - To anyone thinking of living on campus and not leaving on weekends - I hope you have a car so you can get some food!! Don't live on campus if you don't have transportation and a LOT of money to blow. An apartment nearby is a much better choice in my experience.
