It can be a real awakening!!!Jun 20 '00 Write an essay on this topic.High School & College were easy for me. I breezed through all 8 years without batting an eye. I figured I would get a great job with a great salary & everyone would love me - just like in school. Well - this is not the case in the real world. No one cares about the clothes you where, or beautiful your hair is. All they care about is getting the job done no matter how long it takes. Here are some things to think about: You have to learn that you are not going to please everyone. Don't take to heart when someone criticizes you. As long as you give it your all - you can walk with your head high. Don't expect to get that perfect job & the perfect salary when you get out. Don't expect it for a long time. Things are not going to be like you planned it - but don't get down on yourself. The world can be cruel. Most of all - don't live for today. Live for tomorrow. Save your money & invest. You never know what is going to happen tomorrow. And don't fall into the credit card trap. If you can't afford it now - wait. Otherwise you will be paying for it for years to come.  |
