Pros: Great Reception, Uses no electricity, Form factor Cons: Price
I had tried about a dozen different antennas before finding this little wonder. I had tried both indoor and outdoor as well as amplified and unamplified models. And despite the fact that all of them were considered (and priced) as high performance...

Pros: reception, size, cost Cons: feels cheap. lacks amplification. awkward to rotate
OK I have tried them all from the overrated Terks (all models) to the useful and understated rat shack models. Tried RCA, Jensen, all sorts of rabbit ears, even the TERK 55 indoor/outdoor amplified $99 monster that turned out to be a large piece of ...

Pros: Great reception, easy to install, No power needed to SS Cons: None...
We are in San Jose CA, 49.6 miles from the San Francisco tower. SS brought in channels from mantle above HDTV at rear of house but somewhat erratic...Moved to attic above garage at front of house and now receive all major networks (ABC, NBC, CBS and Fox along with others.. Probably receive 22 channels with ~12 of them HDTV. Am amazed at this unit..

Zenith Silver Sensor
by jojostarbuck ,Jul 06 '04
Pros: inexpensive but powerful indoor easy install. Cons: not very attractive
This antenna, although not terribly attractive, is great.
I currently use satellite to receive digital local channels.
I wanted HD. All of my local channels are broadcast in UHF HD except FOX and with this antenna I was able to receive them all. This antenna was very inexpensive and very easy to assemble. It almost looks like a toy, but don't be fooled, it works great. I had HD local OTA broadcast channels 10 minutes after opening the box.
Make sure you know what type of antenna you need. This is UHF only.
