Pros: Good sound quality and an all-around nice machine for a reasonable price. Cons: None, really.
This got panned for having the CD inserted "upside down". Actually this is a real PLUS! If the playing side of the CD faces UP, then the laser beam is facing DOWN which means less chance of dust settling on the beam itself.
Onkyo and Denon models had this same configuration and it makes a lot more sense from a "keep it clean" standpoint. Don't let this feature be off-putting. Buy it and LOVE it!
