Pros: Versatile, Agile, Mobile Cons: Must remember to recharge!
When I began shopping for a MP3 player, I sound found one thing out: memory is king. With too little memory, you're either forced to shrink your songs, resulting in poorer quality, or you're unable to put more than a handful of songs into memory....

Pros: Ability to use inexpensive Clik disks, good sound quality Cons: Headphones, Quick Start Guide Installation Procedure
I've had my Iomega HipZip MP3 player for about a week now and I believe my money was well spent. I bought this MP3 player because of the ability to use Clik disks. Clik disks are inexpensive and you won't run out of space if you have enough of them....

Pros: Inexpensive media, small, good sound, easy to use Cons: Slightly heavy, player makes noise while reading Clik! disks
I bought my HipZip because of its innovative concept. The 40MB PocketZip disks were only $10 a piece, a fraction of the price of memory cards. I could carry around 5 of them with 200MB of music compared to the 64MB of other players. I found the HipZip's...

Pros: great sound, easy to set up Cons: battery is tricky to charge, headphones are junk
I bought this item as an open box buy at circuit city for $100. When i got it, it took me about 5 minutes from start to finish to get the software loaded on my computer and transferring music. The sound is great. The same if not better than many higher...

Pros: Versatile can store music or files Cons: Mechanical parts
I started out looking for various MP3 players on the market. Some
were small (Sony stick), some were bulky (CD player size), some just
looked plain ugly. There are USB versions, Parallel versions, and I saw
one that had both USB and...

Pros: Menu Structure, Sound Quality, Unlimited Space Cons: HUGE SIZE, noisy hard drive sounds, Click disks
I have purchased the Iomega Hipzip about 3 years back, when it was first released, until now it's working better than ever, but the money that i payed for it isn't really worth it anymore, i mean there are better mp3 players out there right now, and ...

Pros: Terrific sound quality, Uses inexpensive Click discs, Supports WMA Cons: Awful headphones, Very limited storage capacity
Ah, the joys of portable MP3 players! Hours and hours of music compressed for your listening pleasure and available for your morning jog, your work-out at the gym, your stroll with baby, your cross-country jaunt in the SUV. Well, there has been an...

Pros: No CDs=No skipping Cons: Moving parts=easy to break
The Intro:
Before I got the Iomega Hipzip Digital Audio Player 40MB, I had been looking for a good, portable MP3 player for a long time, without success. A CD-MP3 player I bought was just terrible, it skipped on any light jostle, so I returned...

Pros: Inexpensive & expandable media, WMA compatible, great sound, battery life Cons: Unexplained freeze-ups, non-replaceable battery, larger than some players
The Hipzip (HZ) represents my first MP3 player purchase. Quite honestly, the only reason I purchased this player instead of a competitor was the fact that I know someone who works for Iomega, and I knew that I would get some free media—the click! or...

Pros: small, expandable memory Cons: never worked right, disks were hard to find, sound wasn't good
Typically, I am an impulsive shopper. However, when I set out to buy an MP3 player, I actually tried to do a little research. I read a few Epinions on various models, and hit Best Buy’s computer department with an idea of models that I didn’t ...

Pros: Small, fun to tinker with, extra disks are cheap, ease of use. Cons: VERY buggy, both hardware and software wise. Will break very quickly (within a month).
I wrote this huge review for this little toy, because I was so pleased with it. It was working wonderfully...then it broke. If you recall a children's book called "Matilda", the father is a used car salesman who would sell cars that would work just...

Pros: Cheap media in Clik zip discs Cons: Bugs? INFESTED! Won't hold a charge after a month.
That's what my mom always said, and this MP3 player proves her right. I loved it at first, but soon it began to show its true colors.
The discs are inexpensive, but very hard to find - although you can sure order them from iomega!

Pros: Removable media. Good sound quality. Can play songs loud! Cons: Questionable quality. Buggy firmware. Packaged headphones are pathetic.
I love the ability to take my music anywhere nowadays. I started with the Walkman, then moved up to a Discman, started toying with MiniDisc players, and then now MP3 players. I love the fact that with MP3 players, you can transfer songs very quickly...

Pros: It's sleek and looks nice. Cons: Bulky.
Awful support from a terrible company.
Zero manufacturing quality.
Disks only 40MB.
I purchased the IOMEGA Hipzip quite some time ago, because I thought the idea was sound and since it was IOMEGA it would be a high quality product with excellent support. Boy, was I mistaken. First of all, the player's functionality is severely ...
