Pros: Corporate office was helpful. Cons: Rude Rude Rude
Did you know?
That if you buy an item from a CellularOne dealer,,,that you have to go back to the exact place of purchase to return it? Why yes you do!
I bought a cellphone for my son and he did not want the face plate...

Pros: absolutely positively nothing Cons: idiotic customer service policies, lack of help, accepts no responsibility
The only businesses I know that are comparable to Cellular One are deservedly out of business and hopefully Cell One will follow suit.
For many months now I have had a day highlighted on my calendar. Above all else I did not want to miss...

Pros: One of a handful of choices especially in smaller market(s). Cons: Customer service, bait-and-switch tactics, poor reception/call reliability.
Initial sales consultation was pleasant thanks to efficiency of our rep at a walk-in location in Morgantown WV. Ostensibly, it was a corporate location (as opposed to a reseller) but you will notice that the Cellular One logo is tagged with "from Dobson...

Pros: Feeling of security. Cons: It took me to the modern era.
This is an update on my review of my Cellular One cell phone service that I wrote on October 30, 2000.
My two-year contract was coming to an end and I discussed it with Mrs. RockyBug (being married to an economist, it is smart to talk to her...

Pros: NONE Cons: poor handling of customer complaints, customer satisfaction low priority, poor cell service
After conferring extensively with an authorized agent, I chose a 150 anytime minutes plan for 34.99 per month. The agent assured my that I would only pay for actual time used, and that calls would not be rounded up to the nearest minute. He also said...

Pros: Over-the-phone reps seem more helpful Cons: Salespeople not knowledgeable, nonchalant
UGH! I just don't know what else to say to describe this experience.
A year ago I signed up for a year contract with 2 phones for myself and my husband. Mostly because he had a job in insurance, and would be driving around the western half...

Pros: The Nokia 5120 is a great phone! Cons: CELLULARONE lacks in the Customer Service department!
In March of 2000, I purchased a Nokia 5120 and the 225 minute DigitalPlus package through CELLULARONE. At the time, neither my husband nor I owned a vehicle and I felt better walking around alone with the promise of instant contact should something...

Pros: Free phone, reasonable priced until you go over your minutes Cons: Poor service, not enough towers in Alabama, poor reception
A year ago my husband and I started to look for a Cellular Phone Service Plan. The only problem was that we didn't have a large variety to choose from because of the small town that we lived in at the time. Cellular One decided to come into the area...

Pros: Good selection of "pretty" phones. Cons: Just about everything else...
Now, my mother taught me that if you don't have anything nice to say about someone not to say anything at all, but in this case, I feel compelled.
Just yesterday I gave my disconnection notice to Cellular One and I'm really looking forward to...

Pros: Coverage Area and Free Long Distance Cons: Everything else
I am currently an indirect dealer for Cellular One in Upstate NY and from what i've learned i've not been too please about it. I used too be a Cell One Customer since back in 1994 of course as anyone who lives around here knows our options at that time...

Pros: Poor Service and rude representatives. Perhaps they are more efficient in urban areas, but they get you hook, line, and sinker if you live in the country. Cons: Nice phone. Reasonable price if you don't exceed your free time. They really get you by the minute if you go overtime or have to roam.
Having used CellularOne for 10 months, I am grossly dissatisfied with and disappointed with my wireless phone. Needing a cellular phone due to the fact that I was the responsible party for three people in their nineties and in nursing homes, I signed on...

Pros: Easy to understand plans, low costs, excellent customer service Cons: roaming charges, inconvenient locations
If you are like me, you are totally and utterly confused by cellular phone plans. I mean, you've gotta worry about WHERE you can call without being charged a fortune, WHEN you can call w/o busting the bank, WHAT the termination fee is if you completely...

However, they are not a company which likes to extend any type of service to a customer. Here are examples:

Pros: Friendly Customer Service Cons: Some misinformation regarding how charges apply
I have actually found CellularOne customer service to be helpful and friendly most of the time. One thing I have noticed from other opinions I have read, is that many people may not realize that CellularONE is a franchise, each with its own parent...

Pros: None Cons: Potential shady business tactics. Customer service is extremely arrogant and the customer is always WRONG.
About a year ago I signed up with Cellular One under a 2 year contract. Other than an occasional poor connection, everything has been great - until the last three billing cycles. For the last three months I've received a $5.00 late fee for late...
