Pros: ...not much... Cons: Bad service area, Bad customer service, False advertisement
I bought this phone last year with one of those dumb contracts.
So i was at the Cellular One office where i live and they gave me a pretty good deal. First of all a $70 phone that cost me only $30 and they even told me "Yes, you can use it from...

Pros: Can't think of any. Cons: Cust.service reps appear to have attended separate training courses. None have the same story.
Just got through with a most distasteful and unsatisfying episode of dealing with Cellular One's customer service department. We have made payments by check for over a year, and finally signed up for an on-line account and made our most recent payment ...

Pros: They were good in the early years. Cons: Tech Support and Customer Service are not to be trusted.
I became a CellularOne customer in 1994. At that time there was no competition in this area (rural Colorado). The local CellularOne Store had a human being and she was quite helpful. Time went on and I needed new phones (which they helped me with), ...

Pros: Nothing Cons: Everything, service, reception, lies, false claims
I have been a Cellular One customer for 3+years. I began having very bad reception last fall. In January I went to the local office to tell them I wanted to disconnect my service and go with another company due to the bad reception. They told me it ...

Pros: They have an unlimited minutes plan for 45 dollars, really cute phone if that matters. Cons: You have to dial sometimes as much as 38 times before your call is connected.
In as few words as I can get out. Cellular One has actually committed fraud. An office in my area signed my initials to a 2 year contract after I only agreed to 1 year. Luckily I am a pack rat & had the original,so when I was talking to the customer ...

Pros: Best prices, Excellent coverage, Western Home plan Cons: Possible billing confusion
OK, so maybe I'm just getting lucky here. I did all my research, determined Cellular One would be my best deal for land line replacement, and went for the two year contract. I was kinda worried after seeing all the reviews here, but I must say that the ...

Pros: excellent service from local salesperson Cons: poor service from main office
I recently switched from Verizon to Cellular One after being fed up with the customer service reps in the main office. I live near the Canadian border, and every month used to have to call to have Canadian roaming charges removed from my bill...

Pros: All turned to cons Cons: Digital service quality, customer service, rebate scams
My wife previously had a cellular account with CellularOne so we signed up for the Digital Family Plan. I bought 2 StarTac cellular phones at Radio Shack for $100 each and was supposed to get a $50 rebate on each phone. Within a couple days of getting...

Pros: Best service and pricing Cons: Service in NOT perfect
CellularOne is a franchise and they are not all connected. People who use CellularOne in NY's Hudson Valley and people that use CellularOne in most other places are dealing with different companies?
I am a dealer in NY's Hudson Valley and...

Pros: Nice phones Cons: Liars, cheats, crooks, rude, obnoxious, poor service, bad reception, misleading adverts and false hype
About 5 years ago I had an account with these guys... Every single month I fought it out with these guys over this thing or that thing concerning my phone bill. Peak charges this, out of area charges that. It was always something. Every month, never ...

Pros: Short waiting time for an operator Cons: Rude incompetent people
I signed up for Cellular One (now Cingular) without researching it thoroughly enough. I signed a two year contract for two phones and boy am I sorry I did that.
I have never in my life received such inadequate customer service as I have from the...

Pros: Cheap, Quick Signup. Cons: Horrible Customer Service, Bad Reception, Dropped Calls
I had my first cell phone back in 1998 with Cell One, old fashioned analog. Worked great, had very little problems with it, so when it came time for me to get into the digital era last Christmas, I didn't hesitate to go back to Cell One.
I...

Pros: Great plan for a great price Cons: Haven't had any yet.
My experience with Cingular (formerly CellularOne) has been nothing but first rate.
I didn't need one of these expense plans with a million minutes I'll never use. With my plan I have 250 prime time minutes and free nights and weekends....
