Pros: Variety of plans, less expensive than the "big boys", NO CONTRACTS Cons: Nationwide plans limited by coverage or minutes, limited selection of phones
For a few years, I was a user of CintiBell's "i-wireless" phone service, which was a pre-paid plan. ...
Pros: Superb Service, No contracts, Fair rates, Nokia Phones, Easy service, Honest Retailers. Cons: Not the latest phones, no gizmos or oooh-ahh features, No MLife
Most people today probably rank cellular phone companies with about the same regard as used car salesmen, if not far, far worse. I mean, why does wireless have to be so complicated? One day, I wish I can buy a phone, pay $40.00 a month, and jabber all I...
Pros: No contracts, plan flexibility Cons: TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE; limited equipment choices; constant billing hassles; inadequate network.
CBW is the only wireless provider I've ever had, so I have no basis for comparison with other service providers. However, I am now very actively searching for another provider, because CBW customer service ABSOLUTELY STINKS. It's impossible to talk to ...
Pros: No contract required Cons: Spotty/non-existent service; poor phone selection; truly abominable customer service; lost calls/voice mails.
CBW is the only service I've ever had (until my Verizon account is actuated this Monday), so I've no standard of comparison. In absolute terms, however, this service(??) is worthless. The coverage is terrible; unless I'm on the interstate or at the top ...
Pros: month to month Cons: Customer Service is the worst. Service is shaky at best.
Like a couple of the other reviews above, I had been charged continuously for roaming and have had to call every month to remove... each of those calls averaging 30 minutes. Then CBW offered to "FIX" the problem last October (2003). Their fix to the ...
Pros: Best priced package out there! NO CONTRACT! Cons: Can't track minutes used online or by calling them!
I switched from Sprint to CB Wireless. It took 30 hours to port my number and several phone calls but that was acceptable all things considered. I am very pleased with the CBW 1000 Rate Plan which includes Call Waiting, Caller ID, 3-Way Conference ...
Pros: No Contracts Cons: Unreliable network, dropped calls, poor voice quality, roaming charges, small coverage area
I just switched to Cincinnati Bell Wireless from Verizon Wireless because I was tired of being in a contract. Wow what a huge mistake that was. I've been with Cincinnati Bell Wireless for about a month and a half now, and have had so many problems with ...
Pros: What pros? ok, the phone was decent, but that's IT. Cons: Pretty much having to deal with them at all. Morons, the whole bunch.
My fiancee and I went to the Florence Mall Cincinnati Bell Store to see about getting a phone for her. Now it's 3 months later. In that time period we were lied to our faces or via phone conversation at least 6 times. At the store my fiancee was told ...
Pros: Low cost plans. No contract required (allowing disgruntled subscribers to switch carriers). Cons: Frequent dropped calls.Awful coverage.Doesn't work inside your home.CSR's are in Canada.
When I first moved to Cincinnati,I went with CinBell Wireless b/c their price plans were attractive, they didn't require a contract, and they advertised that they had the best wireless coverage in the region. Cincinnati Bell also implies that they're ...
Pros: Great Salespeople, Pretty phones. Cons: Lack of service.
I have had my CBW phone for just about 2 months, and am ready to sell it.
While I love the phone itself, the service has been unreliable. Twice in two weeks my phone has gone to "Roam" while in the middle of my home calling area. Customer...
Pros: I have no positive input on my experience with C.B. Cons: Their bundles are nothing more than a "gimmick"...They'll get you one way or the other...
My husband and I have been on the C.B. bundle plan for just over a year now..Bundle included home phone, internet and wireless..We thought the price of the bundle plan sounded great and really thought we were saving money...Since we signed up,(Dec.2004) ...
Pros: no contract Cons: terrible customer service and incorrect billing
Just like the other reviews, I been ripped off too. Started in Feb 04 when I upgraded my Nokias to Panasonic camera phones. What a nightmare, entirely too long to explain here. To sum up, prices quoted for new phones was not what I was charged on my ...
Pros: I am grandfathered into an old excellant plan. Cons: customer service. The way customers are '"herded" through the Florence store
I see I am not the only one the boys at the florence location lie to. One dude actually took my phone to the back to do a "hard drive update" ,'if that didn't help bring it back',he says. Well 2 days later my problem still exists-I have a week signal ...
Pros: NO Contract required. Easy, pain free billing. Cons: Limited choice of phones.
I have used just about every wireless provider in the area, Sprint, Nextel, Verizon and Ameritech (Cingular). Cincinnatie Bell Wireless is the hands down winner for ease of use, simple billing and great customer service. My employer pays for my entire...
Pros: Decent coverage on the road unless your North of Cincinnati Cons: Customer service, pricing of phones and selection all are very poor.
Cincinnati Bell wireless has just gotten it's last dollar from me! Customer service is terrible, the sales desk makes you wait for what seems like forever, then they act like this is the first time they have ever been asked a question about the cell service or how the phone works. If you want to know something other than how to place a call, forget this company.
Cell coverage is ok on the road but is horrible in Cincinnati! Not sure why I have to travel to get coverage. After 10+ years with them, I am happy to say I am DONE!
