Pros: Nationwide long distance, large selection of plans and phones. Cons: Reception around my house leaves a lot to be desired.

Pros: Roll-over minutes? do I get to keep them? or use them calling back after disconnects?) Cons: Bad service, dropped calls, bad MotorollaT720 phone, no recourse, will die before using them again!
Summary: I recently switched to Verizon wireless after a harrowing, frustrating and potentially financially ruining group of months with Cingular Wireless. The jury is still out on the financially ruining part, as my account is out for collection for over $1300 ... read more

Pros: Voice coverage reasonably strong, Competitive pricing if you're savvy, Some account management on the web. Cons: No emailing customer service. Long waits at retail stores. Data service is an afterthought.
Summary: Voice Service: **˝ (2.5/5.0) For the average user just wanting to talk, I'd think Cingular would be generally decent compared to their competition. Sure, their customer service sucks, but that's par for the course in this business. Their ... read more

Pros: Rollover plan; great after sale service at 5137 N. Broadway. Cons: Weak signal.
Summary: Cingular is superior to my former service, but hey, that was WorldCom. I like the monthly minutes rollover plan. Weak signals and complaints from those I call are too common, making conversations frustrating. The first Nokia phone with the service plan I ... read more
