Pros: good on-site customer service Cons: inaccurate portrayal of coverage area
For two years, I have been fairly happy with Cingular under their "regional" coverage plan. When my phone was damaged a few months ago, I went to their store to purchase a new phone and to sign up for a new 2-year plan. I was excited to start taking...

Pros: The coolest phones and most minutes Cons: Coverage
First of all i am an agent for cingular wireless in arizona. And i have worked for verizon, at&t and sprint pcs. I have found that none of these companies including cingular is perfect. However with the other companies you don't get as much for what you...

Pros: Good Samsung phone available Cons: Expensive, bad coverage, heavily taxed
I started my Cingular service in October 2002. I was attracted to Cingular because they offer a very nice Samsung phone, the N625 - it's very small and silver. I opted for the 300 anytime 1000 nights and weekends Preferred Nation program. I found out...

Pros: ok coverage while in car Cons: coverage plans, shady reps
In the Fall of 2001 I received an expensive bill, it seems I had traveled out of my "HOME" area. I chalked it up to a mistake on my part. Cingular did what they could to ammend my bill and plan. (I thought they were being helpful.) I changed from a...

Pros: Decent coverage in my area. Cons: CUSTOMER SERVICE BITES HARD!
First off, I feel so supported now that I see other opinions about Cingular. I've been so enraged over the last two weeks with, guess what? Yes, CUSTOMER SERVICE! Maybe we should call it phone rage service, or stress elevation service, but definitely...

Pros: nothing Cons: everything
I just switch from T-Mobile (see my review about them) to cingular, cause I was said by 2 cingular wireless stores (not resellers but their own stores) that although now its the same service as T-mobile they will have 22 new towers in a week. Also I was...

Pros: Good coverage Cons: Rate plans;
Customer service;
Wireless internet
WHAT IS GOOD:
* Coverage, coverage and again coverage. It should not worry you if you live in a big megapolis and rarely come out (lots of local provides and providers with spot coverage will do). But if you live in place like NJ and go out to...

Pros: none come to mind Cons: poor customer service, inaccurate bills, the worst company I have ever bought service from
I bought a plan from Cingular a bit over a year ago, for this year I was under contract, these were my experiences:
- I rarely had service, I live downtown in Seattle and could hardly ever use the phone. I had absolutely no reception in my...

Pros: NONE! Cingular SUCKS! Cons: Incompetent, RUDE customer service agents BAD coverage areas, dropped calls, etc.
I have NEVER, and I mean NEVER been so angry about the way a company has treated me. Cingular is absolutely the WORST company over all that I have ever dealt with! I am not exaggerating one bit. The customer service reps. are RUDE, and don't explain...

Pros: Wonderful for city dwellers. Friendly customer service, affordable. Cons: Bad reception in rural areas, customer service not all that knowledgeable.
Some time ago, I wrote the original version of this review and blindly praised Cingular as pretty much the greatest cellular phone company in the history of the universe. Well, let's just say that now that I'm older, wiser, and better at writing ...

Pros: Decent rate plans, cool phone covers. Cons: Horrendous customer service, calls are constantly dropped.
After working as a contract employee for Cingular and working with members of the upper management team, I convinced my husband to drop his beloved AT&T and go with Cingular. BIG MISTAKE. We went with the family talk plan so that we would have...

Pros: Cheap plan, decent amount of minutes.
CAn roam on ATT for free. Good signal coverage. Cons: signal not so great in some areas.
I've been with Cingular for almost a year, and just renewed my contract. I actually own 2 phones through Cingular, one for me and the other for my wife.
My wife's plan is great. 350 minutes+unlimited nights/weekends+free long distance for...
