Pros: Unlimited minutes.that's about it for the good stuff Cons: I could go on all day
I have had service through Cricket for just over a year now. I have service through them for one reason only. I have really bad credit. My only other option for wireless service is to pay a ridiculous deposit of about $500 (average) to a major service ...

Pros: cheap plans, unlimited everything, good coverage in your area Cons: limited calling area
I have had cricket for 3 months now, and I am very impessed. It is a reliable, cheap and overlooked cell phone company. I signed up for the 45.00 "cricket choice" plan. Every month my bill is 47.02. You can see your bill online. The extra $2.02 is ...

Pros: unlimited talk for cheap Cons: HORRIBLE customer service
No service out of range
I purchased cricket 10 days ago and I have already switched back to Verizon. When I bought the phone and service it cost 95 dollars for the first month (just the cell phone and activation) it worked great for the first 4 days. I purchased the $60 a ...

Pros: Unlimited local minutes Cons: Pathetic customer service. Calls from other cricket users don't always get through.
I’ve had my phone for almost 8 months, and still no sign of the promotional rebate I was anticipating. The customer service representatives (many of whom are extremely rude) either give me phony numbers to call, or say they'll look into it. I do not...

Pros: No hidden costs, superior call quality, CDMA digital service, no credit check. Cons: No roaming.
We use a Sprint PCS phone and a Cricket phone. Our Cricket phone consistently gets better reception with less dropped calls than our Sprint. The only reason we have a Sprint is because our Cricket phone is useless outside our "calling area".

Pros: Cheap Cons: Cheap and everything that that entails!
...
» Why did you choose this service? Because I thought it was cheap at Costco.
» Describe your experience with this service. Frequent dropped calls. Doesn't work at all in my house except on 2nd floor and that is spotty at best....

Pros: The Customer service is terrible try not to call. Cons: I think it is horrible try not to call at all.
I have had two Cricket phones: the first was a Nokia 5170i, the second a Motorola v120c. When I called to activate the Nokia I was on hold for about 5 min. the Rep. was very helpful but not fully informed. You see I am under eighteen, so my mom had to...

Pros: Unlimited local calls. Cons: Hidden Fees. Poor Customer Service.
I had read with interest the Cricket ratings on this site. Most of them appeared to be poor. I am now adding my own poor rating. I purchased this product for my teenager due to the unlimited number of local calls for a fixed rate. The contractual ...

Pros: None Cons: Incompetent CSRs. No follow-up and NO satisfaction.
We have been fighting with Cricket since October 24, 2002 and we still haven't gotten satisfaction. Finally, in January of 2003 a corporate idiot called me and said, "Oh yes, you are right, we DID take multiple payments from your bank account, and we...

Pros: I can blab as long as I want! Don't have to worry about MINUTES! Cons: I can't go to far, and it's kind of expensive.
Well personally I think Cricket is Ok. on the "10" scale I give it a 5.5.
It's basically for people who are in High School. It's cotst allot also. I pay about 51 bucks a month.
One thing is... I don't use my phone allot, but when i do, I find...

Pros: Unlimited local calls with 500 minutes of long distance CHEAP! Cons: Same as all the rest, occasional dropped calls, NO roaming at all....EVER!
I chose Cricket after stints with SprintPCS, Nextel, Alltel, Verizon, and Voicestram. Why? Primarily the unlimited local service. I LIVE on my cell for work and home, so the appeal of unlimited service for $32.99 per month was huge! Two months after...

Pros: NONE Cons: EVERYTHING
You know that nice 30 day 'free' trial they give you...well, it ain't free. I just got off the phone with cricket, and I was told that I'm on 'post-pay', so I need to pay them more money to get my phone turned back on. Now this is after I payed $60.00...

Pros: Great price for unlimited usage. 500 minutes of long distance included. Cons: Doesn't work outside of local area.
I think it's great to pay the same price each month for service. After having Verizon, it's nice not to have to count minutes. Service is great. You can't beat the 500 minutes of long distance each month - you can even call internationally. There...
