Pros: Cost efficient, convenient customer care , large selection of phones, referral bonus Cons: Changing "night" minutes, dropped calls, pricing changes
I had a Sprint Advantage agreement for 1 year. I began paying 49.99 for 1250 minutes a month. Thats 1000 night/weekend, and 250 anytime. During my year-long agreement, I saw many commercials on television advertising Sprint's newest reel-in for...
Pros: $100 credit, 1 free option, 60 extra minutes on new free and clear plan Cons: 1 year subscription with $150 penalty for cancelation, first incoming minute no longer free
This is an update, I hope that what has happened to me has not happened to anyone who has read the previous version of this opinion. I have left the original opinion as a refrence.
Let me first start out by saying that I was not simply misled...
Pros: tons of minutes per month - long distance from anywhere in the country! Cons: occasionally in roam
I decided many months ago that I needed a cell phone to meet my needs. I was driving back and forth to Michigan every other week and every time I hit a storm I would think "If only I had a cell phone!" Then I moved to Dallas to live with my parents and...
Pros: pretty reasonable prices, not much else though Cons: Numerous--calls made by itself, constantly going out of area . . .
At the time I was picking out a mobile phone service, Sprint looked pretty good. Their coverage area looked pretty wide and their rates were pretty fair compared to other services. However, my sprint mobile phone has given me trouble everytime I turn...
Pros: Cool Phones Cons: Coverage, dropped calls, range
I have had Sprint now for almost a year, and I am counting down the days until my contract is up, so I will be able to switch phone companys. My service has been horrible. About 1 out of every 3 calls I make gets dropped; and the ones that are not...
I decided to use Sprint PCS because of their free and clear plan in which I pay $50 a month for 500 minutes. With this plan i receive FREE LONG DISTANCE anywhere in the U.S., Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands. This is really great considering the...
Pros: Nice phones, pretty good service, good extas such as voicemail, call waiting, and caller ID. Cons: Fuzzy service sometimes, weather can affect quality, and alotted minutes low for what is paid.
I was looking to get a new cellular phone and I just loved the little silver flip phones that Sprint offered with their service. I also decided to go with Sprint PCS after hearing all the hype about how good of a service it was.
Pros: Descent service plns Cons: imagine this....rates alittle high
Who can really say which cell phone company is the best.....myself i have had ameritech, ariel, nxtel, airtouch, and now sprintpcs.
Sprint is alittle higher than some and alittle cheaper than the others but out of the past 6 years they...
Pros: none Cons: sometimes lose signal, bad billing
I have owned other cellular phones before. The problem with them were the noisy cracking sound while talking. The other problem was the bill at the end of the month.
I decided to switch services and get two phones one for me and...
Pros: Good Columbus coverage, decent reception, good customer service Cons: Inflexible 18-month rule on new phone rebate (see review body for details)
When I first got an account with Sprint in 2002, I had horrible problems with their customer service. For example, when my phone was stolen, I spoke to several very rude CSRs who gave me disparate information about how to avoid paying for the services ...
Pros: Free caller ID, free call waiting, free call forwarding, good coverage in Columbus. Cons: Only has service in most traveled areas.
I have had Sprint PCS for 4 months now and I am very impressed with their service here in Columbus. I have only found a couple of dead zones here, but they weren't that large. For someone who doesn't use their phone much anyways, it is a good deal. I...
Pros: Good commercials. Cons: Bad service, drop calls, garble, not clear, false advertising.
I am waiting for my contract to expire with Sprint PCS, so I can switch service. Most of the times when using the Sprint PCS network, I get drop calls or I will hear an echo of my voice. On these occasions the phone is worthless. I have called...
Pros: good service Cons: not good if you live in the "sticks"
I decided to go with Sprint PCS because of their free options! However, at the time I chose this this service and plan, they were having a special promotion. Instead of 1000 minute for $99.99, I got 1000 minutes for $75.00. I really chose this plan...
Pros: Great sound. Phones are wonderfully
Cust. service is good
Price is good Cons: Doesnt like buildings (Kroger, Target etc..)
Ive had sprint going on three years now and i havent had a problem yet. I just cant say enough about it. Their Phones are very nice and stand up well to every day wear
Their service area is pretty good there are some spots that arent covered well...
I have had my phone since September 2003 and the first two months were great. Then after my free trial of pcs vision expired. I canceled the vision option so i wouldn't get charged the $15 every month. I canceled that and was being charged for it another two months afterwards. Then on top of that I have never made any roaming calls on the phone and I've been charged roaming every month since November, and roaming is like a $1.00 every minute. My bill is supposed to be about $38.00 a month with taxes but it's been $50.00 to $150.00 since I've started my service. On top of that I can hear an echo of my voice all the time during calls and I get bad coverage in the city. I have also had quite a few dropped calls.
I have had phone service with T-Mobile and Verizon and have never had this bad of coverage or service. I'm thinking about going with Cingular because of the Rollover Minutes.
