Pros: good range, cheap Cons: signal fade too quick
I really had no choice with the service I wanted. The phone I wanted only came with Sprint ( Samsung sch-3500). I was however pleasantly surprised by the service. I can get reception almost anywhere. Overall, the service has been very good so far. I do...

Pros: The service is not terrible Cons: There are dropped calls, message system is sporadic, roaming
I have had service with sprint for about 5 years. I am not very happy with the Service. I hated my previous experience with AT&T so much that I jumped into a contract with sprint and their promises. I have had a motorola startrac for the whole time. It...

Pros: Nice selection of phones, simple plans, online account managment Cons: Service not to good
I purchased my Sprint PCS phone in October. Before that I had NEXTEL for one year. I like my sprint service and my sprint phone. I like the fact that you can do almost anything online and never call and speak to people. The phone works well and also...

Pros: Good Looking Phones Cons: Very Poor Customer Serv. Too many dropped calls. Big Gaps in coverage.
I purchased a motorolla phone for me and a Kyoera for my wife. From Day 1 we experienced very poor customer service. I would not recommend this company to anyone who expects good customer assistance. There are large gaps in coverage, and way to many...

Pros: Customer Service Cons: dropped calls, lack of signal
I have tried many service providers in the area over the last few years. From Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint to MCI Worldcom. MCI by far was the WORST.
But I feel like I've had the same problem with all of the companies I've tried. Getting calls...

Pros: Excellent customer service, clear billing, great service, great rates Cons: Changing plans can create headaches
I have had Sprint in Houston and New York City. In both areas the service has been nothing less than exceptional. I have spoken to many people who have negative things to say but the next question is usually "did you pay your bill".
I have...

Pros: None that I can see Cons: Only seems interested in attracting new customers. Poor customer service for existing customers.
I've had Sprint for several years. I went to them because of the nationwide coverage, which at that time, most of the other carrier's typical plans were not nationwide. Since I'm no longer under contract, I can go anywhere, but I've been trying to find ...

Pros: Good when not in NYC, lots of call features. Cons: No coverage at the office, at home, constant dropped calls, late voicemail.
Coverage and reception was good in San Diego, but it pretty bad in NYC. I can never use my 500 minutes because it is hard to hold a conversation when half of it is cut out. The wireless web is worthless. I can surf faster with a 300 baud modem and an...

Pros: Wide coverage; clear cellular service Cons: any dealing with Sprint PCS stores or their call centers
You'd think that a mobile telephony company such as Sprint PCS, with its already huge number of existing customers--not to mention the thousands who sign-on each day--could have the proper customer service staff to accommodate its subscribers in a decent...

Pros: Sometimes you need to keep in touch Cons: sometimes you'd like to be able to and can't
It's bad enough I can't walk through a room w/o hearing a ring, or sit in a peaceful atmosphere without someone talking to themselves, oh, I'm sorry their cellular phone. But when you need to make a call Sprint service is a plan you shouldn't rely on. I...

The Way To Go
by drewny ,Dec 04 '05
Pros: Great phones, service, good customer service. Cons: After six months of service cant find any yet.
Sprint Cell phone service came a long way. Great phone and Good prices. Get the fair and flexible plan. Roaming included and if you go over your minutes only five dollars for every fifty minutes. So much better then paying 45 cents a minute with the other providers. Every major city has sprint and if you find one that doesn't or your in the sticks you will switch over to roaming which is usually verizons network. So your covered. There minute plans seem to be cheaper then the other providers and they give bigger corporate discount so check with your company.

Best New York City Has to Offer
by djdirtyd706 ,Feb 26 '04
Pros: Advanced phones, acceptable service, easy to navigate website, decent wireless Cons: Unwilling customer service representatives, illogical contractual agreement
Lets face ityou are bound to have problems on any wireless service provider, be it T-mobile, Verizon, AT&T, or Sprint.
Yet, Sprint seems to have the least amount of problems of the major providers and my experience with them thus far has been better than anticipated.

SPRINT IS JUNK
by flht ,Nov 08 '04
Pros: SPRINT IS CRAP!!!! BAD PHONE SERVICE TOO Cons: They are not not junk?????
Sprint sells you a junk phone that breaks within a month then refuses to replace it. They force you to spend $200 to replace it and then charge you $4/mo for insurance. They just keep replacing the junk phones made in Malaysia which cost them about fifty cents to make when they break again (by the way they charge you $35 deductable each time you replace the piece of crap. DONT USE SPRINT!!!!!!!!

Sprint is what you should do from this carrier
by consultrunner ,Oct 03 '05
Pros: Many stores to sell you phones Cons: Horrible support (in India), poor reception even in major towns, constant fraudulent charges on bill.
I have been with Sprint for several years but that is changing. Over the last couple of months the customer service has gotten beyond rotten. How do I know about the decline? Because I have to call every month to resolve the overcharges that are on my bill. Over the last 4 months Sprint has attempted to charge me over double the correct amount. Every month I have to spend, on average, 30-45 minutes on the phone (horrible wait times). This month I have given up twice after holding for more than 20 minutes. All support is in India which makes it very hard to understand them.
As for reception, it too has gotten worse. I have contacted them for an explanation as to why I am on roaming minutes in Dallas at home and was told that I have to purchase a booster antenna for my house at a cost around $3000. The main thing I can say is DON'T USE SPRINT!!!
