Pros: Price is competitive Cons: Fail to deliver service, aggressive charging
Bad service, followed by aggressive attempts to collect after the phone was returned. Several months after I activated the dual-mode Sprint phone I bought as a birthday present (from Radio Shack), calls stopped going through.
I don't mean that...

Pros: cheap rates, good voice quality Cons: limited availability, customer support lousy
When choosing a phone service provider, take your time, breathe, relax. Buying a cellphone can either be the best thing ever or a total nightmare. In choosing Sprint, I would say you'll probably get the nightmare.
The service is not that...

Pros: competitive rates, reliable service, cutting edge options Cons: long hold times with customer solutions, sometimes transferred around to other reps
To begin, let me say that I am a current and former Sprint PCS customer. My current service, which is most important, has been active for six months. However, since I am a heavy wireless user, I feel qualified to make a statement of the quality of ...

Pros: Good coverage in the city, improving service Cons: Expensive analog service
I remember when Sprint was awful, and my friends kept trying to pawn their PCS phones off on me in the rush to switch to Bell Atlantic or AT&T. What we've learned since then is that no mobile service is great, but that some of them try harder. ...

Pros: The phones themselves are nice. Cons: TO NUMEROUS TO COUNT
My husband and I both have Sprint PCS cell phone service. First thing I will say right up front. It sounded like a Great deal, but IT'S NOT!!! Don’t be fooled! We have had our phones and the sprint service for a little over a year. We bought our phone ...

Pros: billing is clear; phone is compact Cons: service is terrible; holes in coverage
Long story. Here goes.
In January of 1998, my wife and I decided to get a mobile phone. We lived, at the time, in Albany, New York, and went to Crossgates Mall, between Albany and Guilderland, to buy a Sprint PCS plan from the Sprint store...

Pros: NOTHING! Cons: bad phone, bad service, rude sales rep.
Hi,
My two parents and I have all been on the Sprint "Free and Clear" (yeah right) plan for quite a while. Were were told that it was the best service for where we live (Long Island) and that the phones given to us were very good....

Pros: Supposedly superior sound, but not having used others carriers, I can't comment on that personally. Cons: Dropped calls, can't receive any calls in my apt., cust. service support line
I bought my first cell phone about 8 months ago and decided to go with Sprint, since from what I'd read in Epinions, it not only seemed to have the best overall sound quality, but it was suggested that it would only get better as Sprint added more sound...

Pros: clear lines, few dropped calls, good coverage, good # of minutes Cons: poor customer service, no free phone, to get a good plan you have to catch them on promotion.
I've been using Sprint PCS for over a year now and I must say I'm pretty happy with the service I've received. The lines are clear almost 95% of the time. If the line is muffled it's usually during a rain storm or its too windy outside. My home phone up...

Pros: no hassle, cheap, good service, good connection, good customer service Cons: doesn't work in the subway
I've had a cell phone plan with Sprint for a little over two years now and I must say I am impressed with the service, price, and customer service. I initially joined Sprint because all of my friends recommended it. I went to a Sprint store in Manhattan...

Pros: Good clarity, east coast coverage Cons: Bad customer service
The service is good for coverage, reliability, clarity, and price. If you live on the east coast, coverage is very good. [If you live anywhere else, however, good luck.] The clarity has been excellent, although I wish I could get a signal in the subway...

Pros: very dependable service Cons: They were annoying about a late bill
Last September there was a huge storm in the tri-state area and most cell phones and regular home phones in NJ were out for a few days! With Sprint PCS, I could not get incoming calls, but could still make outbound. In an emergency during that time, I...

Pros: Great deals, excellent pricing, innovative options Cons: Great variance in service and in phones, poor customer service
Sprint has some fantastic options, plans, and pricing. 18 months ago when I first signed up for Sprint I was able to get 180 minutes for $29.99 that included nationwide long distance, no roaming away from home area (so long as it's on Sprint PCS...
