Pros: Sharp images; very good color correction; smooth and accurate focusing; water resistant. Cons: Image stabilization very good, but not "perfect"; a bit pricey; slightly heavy.

Pros: 50mm objective lens for night, image stabilizer, 5min shutoff timer, quality optics Cons: high price (but comparable to other good units) no battery life indicator.
