Power output is 500 mW for a range up to two miles, line of sight. The battery saver feature conserves battery life. The Privacy feature eliminates incoming interference from other FRS users on the same channel. Compact and light, it easily attaches to belt with a clip and what's even more convenient, it requires AA cells instead of a bulk rechargeable battery.
