That means you can enjoy the benefits of improved picture quality and Dolby Digital sound (additional equipment required) without having to get rid of your old set. With this box, you will be able to receive all local digital, local analog and analog cable broadcasts. You'll even be able to receive DIRECTV Satellite and HDTV Satellite transmissions when using an elliptical satellite dish antenna (sold separately) and subscribing to DIRECTV.
