Pros: Features RICH: Zoom, 3D-2-2, VLM. A top of the line DVD player! Provides detailed thumbnails.
Cons: Nuon Games aren't popular yet, doesn't play VCD. Seems little slow in Menus.

I bought the SD-2300 even though I was looking for the SD-2200 model. It looks as though the 2300 is now selling for the same price as the 2200 ($299); perhaps Nuon is going the way of Sega. Frankly, I couldn't care less as I bought this unit to play...

I have been quite impressed Toshiba 2300 as a mid-range dvd player. I have it hooked up to my 27 inch Sharp through the s-video and the picture quality is excellent. It also offers great, clear sound, a easy to use remote, etc... The NUON capability...

I researched DVD players for two weeks before I bought the Toshiba sd-2300. DVD technology is still relatively new and is still growing so I wanted to make sure that I didn't buy a cheesy player that would be useless right after I took it out of the box....
