For the price, I don't think this unit can be beat. It comes with 4 heads and stereo sound. I purchased it on sale for $139, and have had it for one month without one single problem. Living in a remote area where TV reception consists of only 3 channels, we use our VCR to play at least one movie every day. This unit produces a good sharp picture and clear crisp sound. I have not had to adjust the tracking once.
The remote works quickly and is easy to use. It was easy to program the clock, and although we haven't used it to record anything yet, that appears to be something that can be accomplished easily also.
My only complaint about this unit is that the clock is not available while a movie is running. I don't need a timer telling me how long the tape has been running. I'd rather have the clock.
This unit is very small and lightweight, making it great for people who don't have a lot of space.
