Big Mini HG BM-300

Jan 26 '00

A few years ago I was taking a trip to Atlanta, GA.. I was in need of a camera to capture my journey... I went with a friend to a local retail outlet that sells just about anything you can think of..

I am known for not knowing a thing about electronic devices.. I often pick items by their looks and price amounts and not researching them.. But amazingly I never get a bum deal..

This camera has been a one of my best purchases..

I did ask for a bit of help from the sales person, I told him I was looking for a point and shoot camera in the 200$ price range, I also told him this was my first camera purchase and I was in need of a good reliable camera that would produce great quality pictures..

Well if I could find that sales man today I would kiss him..

This camera fits in the palm of your hand, it has 2 buttons at the top of the camera, one to open the camera, the second to take the pictures.. There are 3 small buttons on the back, one is an emergency rewind button, the other is for flash and the last for your mode.

The extra options that this camera offers to you are red eye reduction, auto focus, auto variable flash and auto close up.. All of this being a different language to me..

What I do know is I will take no less than 1, 24 roll of film a month by this camera.. I get proffesional quality at the touch of one button..

When you look through the eye sight you will see your typical sight lines.. So you put your point of focus ( the object you want to take a pic of ) in the circle in the sight of the camera and take your picture and Ta-Da...

One thing I don't like is this camera's manual holds the secret's to the many things this camera is capable of doing, unfortunatly it is rather confusing and poor to figure out.. So, after trial and tribulation I feel that I know this camera's potential, but learned it the hard way...

This camera takes a 3 volt lithium battery which I only seem to replace once every 2 years.. They can be expensive but it is well worth it for this camera...

I stand by this product 100%.. If anything ever happens to this camera I know I will be upset, but I know I would buy another Konica camera without hesitation..
