Cellular One in Michigan is the pits!

This is a hard topic to find a place to write about, but will post it here.
I bought into Cellular One of Michigan almost two years ago. The reason being, that my wife was working the midnight shift and Michigan driving in the winter time is rough sometimes! I was afraid that one night on her way to work, she would slip and slide right into the ditch, and have no way to call for help. So we went to our local dealer and signed up under the two year plan. Little did I know that I would be unhappy with this company and wish I never even signed up!
They talked us right into a service plan, with a free phone included! All we had to do was sign up for two years. Easy enough, figuring that we would love it and keep it at least that long I signed up. Now upon signing that paper I should have found out how much I was going to be paying every month for the usage, and if I was going to be getting any good deals! Because what I actually got was a big head ache! I pay $25 for a phone that we no longer even use. My wife quit her job shortly after to stay home with our children and the phone hasn't been charged on the battery pack since. I tried to cancel our service, but got a nasty letter and after a rude telephone conversation was told that either we keep the service, or be charged for a years worth of usage, and have the phone cut off.
A few times I was late on our bill, it would get side tracked, or put in the category of unimportant bills, and after only a few days late, they could disconnect our service. I would get a monthly bill in the mail, along with a reconnection fee. It was a no win situation! For something I never even use!!(the reconnect fee is an additional $25) I have tried to get some kind of deal with these people so I felt like I was getting something for my hard earned dollars. But I get no where.
So, our contract runs out in a few months, and you can bet that I will then not re subscribe! What a waste of money this whole ordeal was!! And the phone was the cheapest thing I ever tried to talk on.
