Ringgggggg is the sound I want to hear most often, now that I have a Cordless Phone Model Number 26730GE1 with a Call ID and Call Waiting. I have asked my husband to invest into a cordless phone for sometime so I would not have to sit and feel confinded everytime someone would call me.
He hesitated and talked me out of purchasing one for myself, knowing my children planned on surprising me with a Cordless Phone made by GE this past Mother's Day. I don't know I managed for so many years without this wonderful gadget.
Living up in the Hills in Northern Georgia, I had expected to get a lot of interference, from the signals and the high towers close by my home. This is not the case at all. My reception is very clear.
There is no need for me to keep the extra call ID unit next to the telephone now, that this phone came equipped with a built in caller ID. One of the best features I have found so far. A real Plus in my book! The Caller ID holds up to 40 names in the memory, like having your own personal mini phonebook right at your finger tips.
Since Mother's Day, I now get a chance to relax outdoors and work in my garden during the day without having to worry about having to run in to catch a call. I can easily carry this cordless outside and set it on my deck and never miss another call.
Some of the other Great Features this phone has is the built in call waiting, no matter where you are when another call comes in you can hit the flash button to connect to the next call. The pager works great when you misplace the phone somewhere,all you do is just hit the page button and it beeps until the phone is found and turned on.
You can adjust the volume for better hearing, has a redial button to redial the last called number. Also you can even use the one touch Dial back number feature which allows you you dial a number set in the call memory. It stores up to 10 numbers in the memory, for quick dialing, and forgetful husbands.
Keypad lights up, it is rechargeable and holds a charge for quite some time, I like the fact that you can set it on the charger either face up for view of the caller ID or you can set it face down when charging this phone. When the battery is getting low it has a Battery Low light and will also warn you if you are getting out of the range of the connection.
The Base of the phone can be mounted on the wall or just placed on a telephone stand, desk etc. The phone itself can stand straight up or on either face when not sitting on the charger.
The warranty on this phone is a one year limited.
