Do not buy a Nextel phone for personal use. It is about the worst coverage there is. IF you own a construction company and need to talk to all of the workers really often, then Nextel may be for you. Nextel uses a two way radio which has very good quality, but you can only use it to talk to others with Nextel phones. Most of the people I talk to who own Nextel phones almost never use the cell phone in it. The 2-way radio feature gives you a lot of 2-way talk time without paying a bunch of money, but the minutes for cell use are extremely high.
