| nemisisv's Full Review: Sony MHC-RXD2 Bookshelf Audio System |
I don't believe that this system is as good as given credit. I hate the damned system and hate it.
This is my reply to the message that says:
Pros: Big Sound, Good Price, Jukebox Changer
Cons: Imperfect Quality, Funny-looking Remote
Sony's is a great example of the potential power of a good mini system. It lacks the finesse and sound quality that you can get from higher-end systems, or even from similarly-priced 3-CD changers, but the bass power is incredible, and the 50-CD changer works flawlessly.
At the end of the summer I wanted to buy a new mini system and wanted a jukebox-style CD changer so that I could leave many of my favorite CD's in the player and have them accessible at the touch of a finger. Sony's system satisfies that need to a T. I wish that the sound quality were a bit more precise, but otherwise, I have no complaints. It's possible to find this system at good prices -- I bought mine for about $260 -- and at that price, it's a great deal.
