I started with Sprint PCS for two main reasons: The low cost of the plan, and my favorite: no annoying contracts! That's right, you can pull out any time! With my 16.99 plan I received 30 minutes of peak time, and for $5.00 more I was able to add 500 off peak minutes (I think that's how many it is..I never go over.). As for service, I have had no problems, and the clarity is awesome! The phones, like many other companies, come with a lot of features like call waiting, caller I.D., and voice mail. One other thing I want to mention is that there are no hidden interconnection fees, and the first minute of every incoming call is free!

The only negative things I can say is that Sprint PCS is still fairly new, and as Sprint is building from the ground up, there are still some areas of the U.S.A. not covered. Also, you must purchase the phone. However, if you can catch Sprint while they are offering a rebate the cost will be minimal.

So give it a try and remember: No contract means you can pick a new plan anytime, and if you decide you don't like Sprint PCS you can just quit, no strings attached.
