I've had the CC-3 for over two years and I have always been very impressed with the way it presents dialog in a very realistic manor. I am a big fan of soft dome tweeters and that is the reason I bought this speaker and mated it with some Infinity bookshelfs. The silk dome tweeters in the Infinity's are a little laid back for some people and if you like extended frequency response these speakers would not be for you. The treble roll off is a strong point for me because most movie sound tracks tend to be very bright.
Nobody could find fault with the midrange, I rank it up there with the best midranges I've ever heard, Acoustic Research. They handle just enough midbass to give the speaker a little oomph when it needs it and it also blends seemlessly with the tweeter to make an overall soundstage that is very pleasing and easy to listen to, top to bottom.
I give this speaker a very high rating but would suggest not too large a room.
