My Cordless Phone

Written: Jan 26 '00
Pros:clear reception, caller id, durable
Cons:no redial button

I purchased my AT&T cordless phone a couple of years ago. I have been very satisfied with my purchase. It was an economical buy. I don't remember exactly how much it was, but was under $100. The model I have which was not on the list is the AT&T cordless 7710.

The main reason that I got it is for the call waiting/caller id option. When I am on a phone call, if another person beeps in I can see who is calling without hanging up. This comes in great especially with having children in the house. It seemed like I was always interrupting my phone calls to answer all of the different kids that call to my house. With the phone, I view the incoming number and decide if it is someone that I need to speak with or someone that my children can call back when I am off the phone. It holds up to 99 names and numbers on the caller id.

It has a ringer off option, a hold button, a volume button and a mute button. You can also program your friends phone numbers in and quickly get them on the line without dialing the whole number. This phone provides good reception, and many quality conversations. It isn't hard to hear on like many cordless phones. I can even take this phone outside and it works fine. The only thing I don't like about this phone is there is no redial button. That isn't good for my trying to win radio contests.
