| Kamen.N's Full Review: Kenwood KDC-X711 CD Receiver Camcorder |
Recently I purchased Kenwood KDC-X715 and would like to recommend it to anyone who wants a hi-end sound in their car. The unit comes backed up by unbelievable features. The CD S/N ratio is 105 dB and the result is a killer sound!
It has Radio Data System which shows you the name of the radio station(when such is broadcast). It gives you also an option to name your CDs so that every time you listen to that one CD - here you go, the name is on the display. Since the clock can be synchronized to the Radio Data System, you don't have to worry about its accuracy any more because it is going to be precise up to the second at any time nationwide.
Did I mention that the two 4.5V pre-amps (one of them non-fading with level control)will allow you to satisfy all your wild external amps configurations? On top of everything D-MASK will hide itself so that when you are in a hurry or just lazy, you won't have worry about the detachable panel. If you do want to take the panel with you, you can do it as well. There is a remote control supplied, which you can give to the "drivers on the back seat".
The thing that really is going to kill you is that if you program it, a year from now (there is a m/d/y calendar as well) when you first start the car in the morning, Kenwood will write your name on the display and will wish you a Happy Birthday. Yes, it does that too.
