VR4607 - Where did the sound go?
Apr 05 '00
I got this VCR for 1 cent when I bought my desktop computer at Comp USA. I'm not sure if you can actually buy this model in stores, or if Samsung only distributes them through Comp USA.
This VCR is so simple to use. You’re not overwhelmed by an endless amount of buttons on the remote that you have no idea what they mean. Programming the VCR to tape shows is very easy as well. The tracking is automatic, you don’t have to waste your time doing it manually.
However, about a year after I got the VCR, something happened. When I put the TV on the right channel, and turn the VCR on, I can watch TV through the VCR. I can see the picture fine, the sound is gone. Who cares if you can’t hear the sound if you’re watching TV through the VCR, right? Well, because of this, whenever I record a TV show, it only records the video, and not the audio. I haven’t brought it in to be repaired yet, so I’m not sure how much it will cost to repair it.
Overall, this VCR is a great one for a great price.
