I can't pick a single one to write about, so...

As I do not own a single Sony Digital Camcorder, it is hard for me to write about one in particular. I CAN, however, give you some hints about what to look for in the cameras, and why i believe that Sony actually makes really great cameras.
First of all, it should be no surprise to you if you have read any of my other Epinions, but I work Tech support for Sony Computers, so I get to play with all these cameras on a daily basis.
In general, I would say that there isn't a whole lot that distinguishes the cameras from each other. Te only difference is that as you go up in price, there are more features added, but the basic functions are basically the same. Ready?
They all have the i.Link (Firewire for you people who just can't give up your MacIntosh) ports for exporting video to a Video Capture Card on your computer. This function works really great with Sony Digital Studio computers, or really any Sony computer because they all have the i.Link port and the software for editing the video. The best part about having a Sony Computer for this is that the software that comes on the computer can actually control the camera so all you have to do is mark the sections that you want and click import and it will rewind the tape and go back and do all the capturing for you, rather than manually clicking record and stop while the camera is manually set to play. Then you just edit and export back to the camera...works like a charm.
As far as I can think of off the top of my head, they all have the Night Shot function, which uses Infrared so you can record in complete darkness. The picture comes out green, but what do you expect? Works great for recording your really hot neighbor through her bedroom window at night, not that I would condone this, of course! hehehe
Other than the bottom line model, all of the cameras also include the Memory Stick so you can use the camera to capture Still shots...it's a video camera and still camera in one, for one low price...can't complain about that, huh? The only drawback to that is that the resolution of the pictures won't be as high as a picture on a Cyber Shot camera, but what do you want, everything?
Everything else just depends on the camera that you select to purchase...the resolutions get better, the cameras get smaller, and one camera even has a printer built right into the camera so you don't need a separate printer. It all just depends on how much you are willing to spend.
Now, before you think I am one of those brainwashed employees that think everything their company makes is great (like I have a friend who works for AOL...poor soul...), let me just throw in the disclaimer that I would not work for a company that I did not believe in. And if you look at my other opinions, you will see that I have given bad reviews to some of our products that SHOULD have worked great, but just didn't (PCGF430 computer for example...)
