Serious Bass OnlyJun 23 '00 Write an essay on this topic.Too many people have the instilled knowledge that when buying car audio, they have to stick with big names like JL, Kenwood, Sony, Infinity, Rockford Fosgate, etc... This is far from the truth. The truth is you can buy some brands of subwoofers that no one has ever heard of. You can spend less money, buy fewer subs, and still make your friends systems look like bottom of the line. If you go to any competitions you will see that the winners have subs that you've never even heard of. One brand that is good, but not the best, is ESX. A friend of mine has two 12s and he outdoes my 3 JL 10s. Don't worry about power, we both are pushing the subs to their max. This is a valid statement. For those of us who want to break some sound records, I would recommend any Kove Audio subs and any Audiobahn subs as well. What makes these subs so special is their large magnets, thick voice coils, and large surround. After all the larger the surround, the farther the sub is able to throw. The farther the sub can throw, the more bass it puts out. I would go as far to say that these are the best subs under the Stroker. You won't be able to purchase any of these as a buy one get one free, but not to worry, nothing is free not even bass.  |
