| bwyckoff1's Full Review: Hughes Networks D1131 Single LNB DIRECTV System |
I promise to Love, Cherish and Always deliver to you the solution to every household problem that comes along. He changed the marriage vows at the altar and now I certainly expect my husband to follow through. You all see nothing wrong with that do you?
My significant other works as an engineer at a manufacturing facility and I would think if this guy can fix problems for a Fortune 500 organization surely a simple TV reception issue should prove simple. Right? Wrong. I am a frugal gal and I figured that if we did without cable over the course of our marriage we should save enough monthly income to spend our retirement in Aruba. The antenna reception was great for years and then with the advent of cell phones usage and the growth of tall trees on our property our reception headed south…Deep South.
I finally sent him on the roof to check all the wires. No results. He spun the antenna around 180 degrees. Nothing. I finally sent him up there with a key and a Kite and told him to check the electrical current. He willingly abided. No solution to the reception problem was found.
Well, We finally chose the Hughes Network Satellite Dish. I can not tell you how different the recuperation is. The picture is crystal clear. No lines and no fuzz. After checking various stores that sell this dish I scoured the internet and found the best deal at www.Sundial.com It was only 25 dollars for the dish itself and 10 dollars for delivery.
The professional installation was free if you signed up for the programming that costs about thirty-one dollars per month. The funny thing is the man came to professionally install the dish and my husband ended up helping him through the entire process. The entire installation takes about one to two hours.
Many program packages are available from Direct TV.You can choose anything from local channels to super deluxe packages which gives you about two hundred selections.
There is no contract as to how long you need to keep it at the premium programming. Whether you want premium movies or sports twenty-four seven, it is all here. They even have a strictly audio section for various styles of music. If you just want to listen to Jazz or Rock it is easy through this system.
The features are wonderful on this system. It comes with a super battery driven remote that gives you all the channels and program on-screen guides. This lets you know what is on each channel. The system also allows you to pre select and display about nine of your favorite programs. This allows you to quickly determine what is being shown on your favorite channel.
There is a child monitor feature, which is great. It allows you to enter a private password to pre-program which shows you will allow on your set, as well as how much money you will permit to be spent for movies. If you don’t want any pay per view movies you just set the spending limit to 0 and you are good to go. To allow the special movie programming it is simple to set it up right from the on-screen guide. This direct selection process saves you money as well.
The guarantee is one year for parts and ninety days for the labor. The one thing you must Now if we argue it is not about the reception it is about other stuff… like possession of the remote.
