Good to Go

Written: Nov 19 '00
Pros:Great looks and outstanding sound
Cons:Price, distortion at high volume

I am very impressed with this product. Initially, I wanted to purchase a Bose Lifestlye system, but as I went shopping around, many, if not all the dealers I talked to recommended not to buy the Bose system. So then I looked for another product and I narrowed it down to a Onkyo, Nakamichi, and Sony mini-system. After further thinking, I went for the Nakamichi Sound Space 8. First off, this Nakamichi looks pretty cool, something different from the normal. Loading the 5-disc changer is also a very interesting feat. Also it sounds very good too. I upgraded the speaker cables and the RCA cables to the MONSTER brand it sounds very damn impressive. Everyone that has seen my system were all impressed, not only for its stylish looks, but also the sound.
The only bad thing is that the sounds does distort at very high, high, volumes; the 5-disc changer, it seems to be a intricate process to changes CD to CD but I have confidence it will not fail, and last but not least its a pricey system, but will worth every penny. All in all, Nakamichi is good to go.
